About the Songs / Song

Three short songs make up “Trio”, as they are blended together into one.

“Peace Is” - a song I learned from a long lost friend about 20 years ago, it just stuck with me.  On this song I’ve blended quite a few string instruments including: 6 string guitar, mandolin, mandola, sitar, tamboura; as well as lots of chimes and synthesizer. 

“Beautiful Soul” - this song which highlights some fine musical friends (see notes on musicians) references the ongoing journey of the soul, and seemed quite appropriate for this collection dedicated to Brent.

“Song of Joy” - this song came to me in such a unique way at a very challenging time of my life; it fell out of a group of clouds, assuring me of better days ahead.  This is a song very close to my heart connection.
